"Krydsveje" is a short doc about finding "a home" even in the most institutionalized, secret and foreign place. 

 

Taking place in a safehouse for women of domestic violence, it captures a women in crisis. Isolated from normalcy, she deals with the ambivalence of being a stranger in her own life and with the resentment of having to receive help to cope.

How do we accept that nothing is under control? and how do we find our way back home -  when everything we know - who we are - slowly gets disempowered?
